LPW - Columbus, 11-15J, 6S, 14K gold false box hinge drum style Dueber HC recase with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail including a small idyllic lakeside château scene to rear, front shield with initials, gold cuvette, fancy white enamel SS dial with "telephone" style hour numerals shaded in red, red signature, red minute chapter, red and green floral decoration around center and outer perimeter, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#180780. Gross weight of assembled watch 37.3 dwt (58.0 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound, likely broken balance staff, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scratches to barrel bridge, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches elsewhere; visible portion of dial with hl from 9 to upper-left rim of seconds-register, hls below seconds-register at 5:30 and 6:30; fine hands with some areas of oxide and finish loss; case shows hardly any wear, mild small nick to lower perimeter of front adjacent hinge area, no dents, superb engraving detail, rear of pendant with some scratches surrounding a replacement detent screw that seats above its surrounding surface; tight brassy gold-filled replacement bow, crown shows hardly any wear; glass crystal with significant glue excess around its seat.
